What each broker charges, and what you get for it

Futures commissions, margin rates, cash yields and features from crypto to 24-hour trading at 14 US brokers, checked against each broker's own pages.

Set how often you trade and the ladder ranks every broker by what you'd pay in commissions a month. Tap a broker for the full fee breakdown and what changed there this year.

Micro E-mini, 100 round trips a month

Monthly commission only, cheapest plan picked for you. Exchange, NFA and clearing fees are extra. AMP Futures is left out because it quotes all-in prices. Brokers that haven't published an E-nano rate drop off that view.

    Cheapest margin, side by side

Margin rates now range from under 5% to above 12% for the same $25,000 loan. On a year-long $25,000 balance, that gap is about $1,760 in interest a year.
